Peter, at his house

I loved shooting Photos of Peter....he's extremely unique, bohemian, and is gifted in front of the camera. He lives in a house with a community garden in the backyard. He jumped in the shower and said, "Feel free to shoot pictures". You can't forget Peter once you meet him. Our photos were all over the place, just as this set of pictures reflects.

Audra, portraits

Here are two headshots of Audra from our last shoot together that I wanted to highlight with a post of their own.

How to survive in the ravine, starring Audra.

I've always wanted to shoot photos in the Glen Echo Ravine, and after running into my friend Audra one night we decided that it would be a great place to do a sunrise shoot (which have been my favorite lately). We undertook serious preparation by going to the thrift store to find clothes that caught our eye (I specifically wanted some poncho type stuff).  We didn't exactly make it there at sunrise, more like 730am but we still found really good light, a dead possum, and also saw a women slip and fall down some stairs while on the phone with her mom telling her not to slip down those very same stairs. My friend Emma helped style and deserves credit for helping pull all the outfits together with her eye and the accessories she brought. Here are the photos, enjoy!

Hocking Hills Sunrise

I drove to Ash Cave in the Hocking State Forest one morning to see the sun come up. My lovely beagle Gala came with me, but I didn't take any pictures of her. I've spent too much of my life not seeing the sunrise.
