Was able to enthusiastically photograph my favorite Portland artist in April, Dan Gluibizzi. I first saw Dan’s work at the Russo Lee Gallery in NW Portland in 2022, just one piece, on a wall by itself. His work is unmistakable, colorful, and visually arresting, and the scale of his watercolored paintings are incredible to see in person. Maybe it goes for all art, but viewing it on a website, so two dimensional and unscalable, just doesn’t do the real thing any justice at all.

I want everyone to know about Dan’s art…I think there is an audience just waiting to find him.
