Recent personal work

Here is a mixed bag of photos I've taken the past few weeks, I go where the wind blows...and I try and always bring a camera. 

Arnold Classic Fitness Expo 2016

I made it to the Arnold Classic in my 37th year on Earth, and it didn't disappoint, although the immense bodybuilders I would expect to find at this type of event were very elusive. The crowds at the expo, waiting in line for protein powder samples, looking at exercise gadgets, and gawking at fitness idols were dense and very in shape. I've never seen more athletic wear and running shoes in one building. I found everyone I interacted with extremely friendly and I'm happy to report that I would consider going next year, especially for the amateur wrestling. Find info about the Arnold Classic here.

I'm not known for creating vibrant, colorful photos so that's exactly why I chose to work with tones foreign to me with this shoot. I saw Brittany at an art event I was photographing and she was the coolest, best dressed, most vibed out person there, and she was awesome to work with. 

Portraits from the Columbus Flea, Winter 2016

Here are some of my favorite photos of people from the last edition of the Flea, just as many friends as strangers, all gathering at one of my favorite events in Columbus.  Strongwater has some of the coolest light in the winter, and in general is probably one of the best places to have a presentation, dance party, wedding reception, or flea market.  Find the whole set of photos here.
